National Sorghum Producers Endorses Tom Sell for Texas’ 19th Congressional District

LUBBOCK, Texas (Dec. 10, 2025) — National Sorghum Producers (NSP) today announced its endorsement of Tom Sell for Texas’ 19th Congressional District, highlighting his long record of service to West Texas agriculture and deep expertise in federal farm policy.

Sell played a key role in the development of the 2002 Farm Bill under former House Agriculture Committee Chairman Larry Combest (R-TX) and has spent his career advocating for producers across the High Plains.

“Tom understands West Texas agriculture at every level, and he has always been a strong, reliable voice for farmers,” said Barry Evans, NSP board member and sorghum grower from Kress, Texas. “I’m proud to support him. He knows our district, he knows our challenges, and he will work tirelessly for the people he represents.”

NSP said Sell’s policy experience and commitment to producers will make him an effective advocate as Congress navigates implementation of farm policy, trade issues and ongoing economic pressures in agriculture.
