NSP Hires New Relationship Manager
LUBBOCK, Texas —Christi Stulp has joined the National Sorghum Producers staff as relationship manager. Stulp will lead the efforts of the Industry Partner and Elevator-Member programs.
“I am very excited to re-welcome Christi to Team Sorghum,” NSP CEO Tim Lust said. “Christi brings a wealth of knowledge both in sorghum and partnership development. Christi will play an integral role in developing new relationships that will allow for greater sorghum representation in D.C. and in the development of policy important to sorghum farmers and our industry.
Stulp joins NSP after having spent the last nine years farming with her husband Jeremy in southeast Colorado, and also leading a consumer-based direct sales team. Prior to returning home to work on the farm, she worked for NSP from 2004 to 2008 where she had a number of duties, including launching the magazine Sorghum Grower and expanding the E-Member program to other states from Texas. She has also worked for Producers Cooperative in Bryan, Texas, and Dow AgroSciences. Christi has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agricultural communications from Texas Tech University and University of Florida, respectively.
“I am blessed to get the opportunity to once again work on behalf of sorghum growers,” Christi said. “I know firsthand that NSP makes a tremendous difference in the profitability of our farmers.”
